Narendra Modi's Brigade Rally on 5th Feb in Kolkata created a great sensation in Bengal Politics. Lakhs of Modi Supporter to join in the Rally.

Modi Times Corespondent | Kolkata | On 31 January 2014:: The BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will hold a rally in state capital Kolkata on Feb 5th 2014 which has created a great sensation in the state politics of West Bengal.

Over 5 lakhs of people, mainly from the rural and urban areas of Bengal are expected to attend the rally. The rally is a part of BJP 99 public meetings in West Bengal.

Modi’s rally will be held at the sprawling Brigade Parade ground which has a capacity over ten lakhs in its permitted areas. This ground is controlled by the army authority of Eastern Command.

Those looking forward to be seated closest to the platform from where Modi will address the rally, have already booked their seats online. The bookings were started from January 3,2014.

Samik Bhattacharya, a senior state BJP Leader intimates the Modi Times correspondent that the Abnormal Price Hike, Abundance of Corruption Central to State, Communal Politics of CPM and TMC in WBand Autocrat Congress free India are the four main issues are in the agenda in Naraendra Modi's rally at Kolkata. Sri Bhattacharya is on tour in Malda for a campaign for the rally.

Other prime sate leaders Rahul Sinha, Tathagata Roy and Tapan Sikdar are all engaged in their tour as set for MODI RALLY IN KOLKATA.

The BJP supporters of West Bengal are campaigning on war footing to make the BJP's Brigade Rally a grand success.

The ruling TMC and the opposition Left Front are blaming each other for the raise of BJP in the state as a commanding force in awaiting. Mukul Roy, a veteran TMC leder of the state told in a TV talk show that BJP could share at least 15% popular vote of the state. On the other hand, CPIM leader Suryakanta Mishra told that Mamata Banerjee should clear her stand that she would never join in the BJP fold. The perplexed Congress leadership in the state perhaps forgot all words for Modi being a silent spectator.

As BJP's most high-profile leader and prime minister aspirant Narendra Modi is coming to address the rally at Brigade Parade Ground, the Kolkata Cops claim that though they are expecting a "moderate" crowd, it is his security details have kept them on tenterhooks. "Ever since the Indian Mujahideen sponsored blast in Patna, there are certain specific security aspects that we need to take care of," said a senior official of Kolkata Police.

Accept court's clean chit to Modi: Praful Patel

Rediff News | Mumbai | january 29 2014:: Any judicial pronouncement on Narendra Modi's alleged involvement in the post-Godhra riots should be accepted and should not be questioned further, according to a senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party.
"We are in an era when we believe that the judicial system is the final recourse to getting justice on any issue or to bring finality to any controversy and if the judicial system has given any pronouncement, we ought to respect it. We will not question it further," Union minister Praful Patel told reporters.
He was replying to questions on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's attack on the Gujarat chief minister in a television interview, accusing his government of abetting and pushing the 2002 riots in the state.
Patel said it was for each one to give his or her version in an interview but politics was based on the perception of not just the politicians but the public too.
"But the fact remains that if the judicial system has given a certain finality to any controversy, then we should let it rest there," the NCP leader said.
Meanwhile, Farooq Abdullah, Union minister and a leader of the National Conference, refused to be dragged into the Modi controversy.
Whether Modi wins or loses, it will be the people of India who will decide who will be the next prime minister, said Abdullah.
Both the NCP and the NC are allies of the Congress in the ruling United Progressive Alliance.

BJP's experiment: Modi tea stall near Rahul's interaction venue in Raipur

Ejaz Kaiser |  Hindustan Times |  Raipur | January 29, 2014 :: As Congress workers will gather on Wednesday in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur to listen to party vice-president Rahul Gandhi, they will also find their way to a Narendra Modi tea stall set up near the venue.
Rahul will visit Raipur in the afternoon to hold a dialogue session with party workers and leaders where he is expected to take questions and address the gathering at the city's indoor stadium.
The timing and venue of BJP's tea experiment to connect with the voters is going to raise eyebrows.
The responsibility of managing BJP prime ministerial candidate Modi's tea vendor symbolism - Chai Choupal and Chai pe Charcha - has been taken up by the state unit of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
The campaign is centred around tea stalls and is meant to take Modi's message to the heart of local political discussions in India and remind people of his own humble origins as a tea vendor.
It also aims to turn the jibes made about Modi's tea-seller background by rival politicians in recent weeks to his advantage.
Modi will officially launch the campaign on February 1 in Gandhinagar, by interacting live with people at 1,000 tea stalls across 300 parliamentary constituencies using a combination of internet, television broadcast technology, mobile and social media platforms.
"We are setting up mobile tea stalls at various points across the city to offer tea free of cost. It might be a sheer coincidence that today's spot is close to the venue where Rahul Gandhi is visiting. Our aim is just to run a campaign in support of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who gets the opportunity to assume nation’s top responsibility as against the Congress where the dynastic rule prevails," the BJYM state president Anurag Singhdeo told Hindustan Times.
He insisted that they have nothing to do with the Congress event.
"The date-wise spot selection had been planned earlier," he said.
The Congress has criticised the move and said that it's not a mere coincidence that the BJYM hopes to stir up their campaign on Modi through the tea stall close to the venue.
"The BJP is known to create needless controversy," said Congress spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.

Modi attacks Congress over lack of war memorial. Paid tribute to 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' .

Modi attended 51 anniversary of 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

India only nation without a war memorial, says Narendra Modi

NDTV | Mumbai | Edited by Nadim Asrar | 27 January 2014:: Narendra Modi used a moment of nostalgia to score a political point today, when he attacked the ruling Congress for failing to construct a war memorial for martyred soldiers.

"I feel some good things have been left for me to do," the BJP's prime ministerial candidate said after observing that India was the only country without a war memorial to "honour their sacrifice." The BJP is upbeat about its prospects in the general elections due by May after several surveys have predicted a good showing by the party.

The crowd roared slogans like, "Modi lao desh bachao (bring Modi, save the nation)."

Mr Modi was in Mumbai to felicitate legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on the 51st anniversary of her song 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' sung as a tribute to India's soldiers who died in the 1961 war with China.

Mr Modi also observed that the first time Ms Mangeshkar sang the song, composed by C Ramchandra and written by Kavi Pradeep, was on January 27, 1963, with the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru present. "Lata didi has reconnected us to the past. We are fortunate that Nehru first heard it and now we have," Mr Modi said. (Highlights of Narendra Modi's speech)

The audience at the Mahalaxmi Race Course was predominantly made up of armed forces personnel and Mr Modi's speech was addressed to them and to the massive constituency of soldiers across the country. Apart from promising them the memorial, the BJP leader also referred to the emotive issue of the beheading of an Indian soldier by Pakistani troops last year, cyber attacks by China and the alleged lack of funding for acquisition of weaponry.

The 63-year-old leader said India has the potential to be a military powerhouse. "If India decides, and has the right leadership and policies, within 10 years we will be in a position to export arms," Mr Modi said.

Standing beside Ms Mangeshkar, who is known for her fondness for the Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr Modi even broke into the song and sang with others present.

In her speech, Ms Mangeshkar, denied that the event had a political colour and said, "I thank the organisers that I got an opportunity to meet Narendra bhai."

Ms Mangeshkar was also a special guest in November last year at the inauguration of a hospital in Pune in memory of the singer's father.

"Everyone in India wants to see Narendra Modi as prime minister," Ms Mangeskhar had said at the Pune event, generating a political controversy.

65th Republic Day Message of Sri Narendra Bhai Modi.

MODI TIMES MODI TIMES MODI TIMES MODI TIMES MODI TIMES MODI TIMES

Looking towards the future and strengthening our Republic with the motto of India First: Narendra Modi on 65th Republic Day.

Dear Friends,
Today, we celebrate our 65th Republic Day. 64 years ago, on this very day; we formally became a Republic and adopted our Constitution. Today is a day of national strength and self confidence.

Republic Day fills each and every one of us with strong emotions. It brings to mind powerful images of India’s military, parading to the world its full might and grandeur. It makes us salute once again the selfless patriotism of our women and men in uniform. It inspires us with the moving accounts of the bravery and gallantry award winners.

Today is also a day to look back and cherish our glorious past! Remember the sacrifices of the great women and men of the freedom struggle. Remember the members of the Constituent Assembly, who gave us in our Constitution a rooting force we can be very proud of. Today we renew our faith and commitment in this sacred text that has made India what it is. We pay our tributes to the venerable Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, whose anchoring role can never be forgotten.

Importantly, today is also a day for introspection. What does the Republic of India stand for? What does it mean to us? What direction has it been headed in over the last seven decades? And what does it need to do in the coming years?

One phrase that has been gaining significant traction of-late is the ‘Idea of India’. Public and academic discourse around this has been hijacked by a select few, becoming a powerful tool in furthering their hegemony over the same. Many have asked me in lengthy op-eds, on social media and so on that “Modi ji everything else is alright but what is your Idea of India”? Others have not been so kind, preferring to debate my party’s very suitability with this ‘Idea of India’ itself.

However, one must understand that no single person or entity can appropriate the ‘Idea of India’. BJP’s National Council Meet last week gave me the opportunity to share some glimpses into what my ‘Idea of India’ was as well.

First and foremost, my understanding of the ‘Idea of India’ fundamentally rejects such a hegemonic conceptualization of an ‘Idea of India’. The Rig Veda teaches us: ‘आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वतः’. That is ‘let noble thoughts flow from all sides’! This is not just a mantra, but a central tenet of our Constitution as well. Ours is a path of tolerance. Of the celebration of diversity. Where every Indian not just envisions, but works towards building the India of his or her dreams. My ‘Idea of India’ calls not just for tolerance, but a celebration of all points of view. Where the sensibilities of every individual are respected.

Truth, Peace and Non-violence form the central tenets of the ‘Idea of India’!Our scriptures teach ‘सत्यमेव जयते’, that Truth alone triumphs. I am committed to such an India where the wheels of justice move quickly and equally for every Indian irrespective of his class, caste or creed. An India where injustice has no legal nor moral validity. Read more here>>>

Let us have faith in our nation and our people. Let us walk the path shown by our great leaders, as a fitting tribute to their selfless sacrifice. Let us devote ourselves to the cause of nation building with the mantra of ‘India First’! Let us together build a nation that once again redefines the story of mankind!

Forever yours in this journey of development,
Narendra Modi

How BJP and NDA will get the majority in next Lok Sabha by defeating Congress and UPA in the General Election, 2014 with a virtue of Modi Magic.

Modi Times Bureau | Kolkata | 25 January 2014:: The Modi wave may take a shape a Modi Cyclone for the coming Parliamentary Election. A confidential report of Central Intelligence Agency narrates that the Cyclone may prove it as a fatal consequences for Congress and UPA (United Progressive Alliance)  which may be arrested under 100.

While various poll surveys give unquestionable victory for BJP and NDA (National Democratic Alliance), some congress agents in different media houses suppress the shameful defeat of Congress and they are making a sense that BJP will not get the majority to run the next Govt. under the Prime Minister-ship of Narendra Bhai Modi.

But, efforts of  the crooked media will be futile as the popular votes for Modi will earn a thumping majority in Lok Sabha (Lower House of Indian Parliament) in favour of BJP and NDA, without any confusion. The Modi Times Bureau has conducted a social media survey along with some field analysis and got expert opinion that Modi is coming as a Champion of the coming election war between NDA and UPA. Our experts have got no pulse in favour of AAP (Aam Admi Party) in this context and opined that the initial craze for AAP will be rapidly decreased before the real time as the party is loosing its popularity in its Delhi bastion.
Table- A.
As per the estimate of Modi Times Bureau BJP and NDA will get 275 plus and may exceed the limit of 300.
Though some poll surveys hint that BJP will do extreme well in NJP run states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattishgarh, the Non BJP states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand will give unbelievable dividends for BJP's majority in Lok Sabha. In other reports it is also mentioned that BJP will get good numbers of MP (Member of Parliament) from Maharashtra, Assam and even from Kerala.

In the table A, the party/alliance wise seat sharing is presented in a comparison with the estimation of another survey conducted by First Post. The related reports for poll surveys by different agencies/media are also  published here for getting the reality of the Victory of BJP in NDA and the defeat of Congress in UPA.

To ensure the victory of BJP and NDA, Narendra Modi is likely to attend more that 100 big rallies throughout the country to boost a new pulsation in favour.

Decisive Hindu votes will play a major role this time as a Hindu Vote bank for BJP to elect a Nationalist force in the centre for a stable Govt. for the next five years.

Adi Godrej praised Narendra Modi in Davos

Adi Godrej praised Narendra Modi and supported the enterprise of present Gujarat CM and would be PM of India. Jai Ho.

In Davos, the Narendra Modi debate

NDTV | Updated On: January 24, 2014: A day after Finance Minister P Chidambaram hit out at BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at the World Economic Forum in Davos, prominent India Inc leader and Godrej chairman Adi Godrej lent a voice of support to Mr Modi in the Swiss Alps. (Watch)

"Modi-led government might be the best option for a pro-growth government," Mr Godrej said.

Mr Chidambaram, on Wednesday, called BJP's economic policies retrograde and "blood-eyed". He also took a personal dig at Mr Modi and asked why the Gujarat Chief Minister had never fielded a Muslim candidate.

Far away from the Swiss Alps, senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley in Delhi on Thursday sprung to his party and Mr Modi's defence by citing a report from Moody's that backed the Gujarat Chief Minister's investment friendly policies.

Mr Jaitley said, "Coincidentally, on the day that he (Chidambaram) chose to speak about the BJP and Narendra Modi at Davos, Moody's has come out with its India report which is highlighted in the media. Its reporting indicates that the industry is today waiting for a political change led by Narendra Modi for a major turn-around to take place".
"He (Chidambaram) was expected to market the Indian economy when the political and trade leaders of various countries' meet. Instead, he has chosen to speak on BJP and Modi," Mr Jaitley said.

Moody's Analytics, a division of global ratings agency Moody's in its India Outlook report however also said that Mr Modi faces challenges in attracting non Hindu-votes and may have difficulty forming a minority government with smaller parties.

"...although his good record as chief minister of Gujarat suggests he can overcome these obstacles. If elected, a Modi-led BJP government should offer a more business-friendly policy that will further support confidence and investment," the report said.

Mr Godrej's India Inc colleague Ajit Gulabchand, chairman and managing director of infra major HCC, also spoke in support of Mr Modi on Friday at Davos.

"Believe Modi is for jobs creation and investments...Modi talks about a market economy," he said.
