Time Person of Year 2013: Narendra Modi is more popular than Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping.

'Time Person of Year 2013' Survey shows that Narendra Modi is more popular that Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping. He is among Top 4 who get most votes of their supporters. 



Modi Times Team | Dec 5, 2013:: The voting for 'Time Person of Year 2013' was concluded at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 4. And it created a huge sensation in the media and public to get their icon in the prestigious TIME's Cover page as person of the year.

As appeared in its relevant link, it is marked that "As always, TIME's editors will choose the Person of the Year, but that doesn't mean readers shouldn't have their say. Cast your vote for the person you think most influenced the news this year for better or worse - in both a straight yes/no poll and a candidate face-off. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 4, and the combined winner of our reader polls will be announced on Dec. 6. TIME's Person of the Year will be announced Dec. 11."

The Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP was short-listed in this year's fray as nominated a single Indian for 2013. Finally Sri Narendra Modi ranked fourth within Top 4 ranking after getting 14% votes (Total votes 256,905). The other toppers are Mr Abdel Fattha, the Syrian Defense Minister in 1st position securing 26.2% votes (total votes 590,755), the 2nd Mr Recep Erdogan, the Premier of Turkey who secured 20.8% votes (total votes 473,588) and the 3rd postion holder Miley Cyrus is a celeb model who got 16.3% votes earning 303,047 votes.

Form a check it has been reveled that Sri Modi has got an outstanding votes never secured by any Indian in the same fray and Modi is emerged well ahead that Mr Barack Obama, President of USA (0.4% votes) gets 24th rank, Vladimir Putin, the Russian President (1.0% votes) gets 11th rank and Xi Jinping, the (0.3% vote gets 31st rank among total 42 candidates in the fray. 

By the way, Pope Francis got the 8th rank after securing only 1.2% popular votes.

As matter of fact Sri Modi has such a base of thousand of supporters who have not been successful to register their votes for this fray of 'Time Person of Year 2013' only due to poor internet/on-line access in their locality in rural and semi urban areas in India. Otherwise, hardly any one could reach the popularity of Modi, anytime, anywhere. 

The formal declaration of 'Time Person of Year 2013' is fixed on the unique day of 11-12-13.
